Mental Health Awareness Week: Why Green Means More at LVL1

This week marks Mental Health Awareness Week 2025, & the theme is community‘. At LVL1, that word carries a lot of meaning, not just in how we support our own team, but in how we work with businesses & charities across Norfolk & beyond.

You might see us wearing green this Thursday, not just to raise awareness, but because it’s a colour that’s embedded in our identity. Green stands for balance, support, growth, & a fresh perspective, all of which we aim to bring into the world of IT and business support every day.

Supporting Mental Health in the Workplace

We know from experience that IT can either be a source of frustration or a force for calm. From email downtime to system issues, technical problems can quickly create stress in fast-paced environments.

At LVL1, we take that seriously. Our team has a qualified Mental Health First Aider, & mental wellbeing is something we actively care about. We believe that IT support shouldn’t just solve problems, it should remove friction, reduce stress, and help people feel confident & supported in their roles.

Building a Business with People in Mind

We’re proud to be building an IT support & systems company that puts people first, whether that’s clients, colleagues, or communities.

That means offering:

  • Clear, human-first communication
  • Reliable systems and automation – that make daily tasks smoother
  • Flexible remote and hybrid solutions – that reduce pressure and empower teams

Supporting Charities with IT – Let’s Talk

As part of our commitment to community, we have helped & work with a number of charities & not-for-profit organisations who need help with their tech. Whether it’s basic IT support, Microsoft 365 setup, or improving internal systems, we’re happy to offer guidance & practical help where we can.

If you’re a charity or small organisation doing good work & think we might be able to support you, even just for a quick bit of advice, we’d love to hear from you.

Final Thoughts

Mental health isn’t just about awareness for one week of the year. It’s about how we work, how we treat each other, & the systems we build to support people, in business & beyond.

So this week, we’re wearing green. But more importantly, we’re continuing to build something that supports people every single day.
